INTERNATIONAL PRIZE OF CONTEMPORARY ART
LYNX 2019
The deadline to register to the LYNX Prize 2019 is only a few days away.
You have until midnight tonight, July 14, to join LYNX Prize 4th edition.
The prize is open to artists of all ages and countries.
The LYNX Prize 2019 provides great visibility for artists, thanks to a
large-scale advertising campaign, and with 3 scheduled exhibitions.
PAY ATTENTION: THE APPLICATIONS FOR ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
UP TO JULY 14, 2019. AFTER THE DEADLINE, ARTISTS WILL HAVE ANOTHER 3
DAYS TO SEND THE PICTURES OF THEIR WORKS AND PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE.
- 1 work, 60euros
- 2 works, 85euros
- 3 works, 135euros (to compete for the Special Prizes artists shall submit at least 3 works)
- 4 works, 135euros
- From 5 up to 10 works, 160euros (at least 5 works to receive a
yearly free subscription to the art magazine Contemporary Lynx, and 10
works to compete for the “Solo Exhibition Prize”).
The selection of works will be carried out by an expert jury composed of 12 members.
THE PRIZES
- 4 first prizes, for a total value of 7.000euros
- 8 Special Prizes “Be Art Builder” (for artists submitting at least 3 works)
- 4 “Solo Exhibition” Prizes (for artists submitting at least 10 works)
- 1 Under23 Award, for the best young artist
- 1 Biafarin BLUE Award. Our partner, Biafarin Artist Management, will reward an artist with a BLUE Membership annual package.
A yearly free subscription to the art magazine Contemporary Lynx (see section 4 of Terms and Conditions).
FURTHERMORE, SECOND CHANCES FOR NON SELECTED ARTISTS ASSESSED BY THE ORGANISATION AS WORTHY FOR PARTICULAR ASPECTS:
5 collateral exhibitions
Up to 100 artists involved in the collateral exhibitions
Also this year, the Associazione Culturale Il Sestante aims to increase
the visibility of its own members (anyone who registers to the Lynx
Prize becomes a member for the current year): non selected artists
assessed by the organisation as worthy for particular aspects will have
the opportunity to participate in 5 collateral exhibitions.
