Born in Susehri / Sivas, Turkey in 1952, Nazli Er graduated from the Professional Education Faculty of Gazi University. She has been a teacher in Avanos, Nevsehir for two years. After she had taught art, ceramic, graphic, style design in Ankara for 25 years, she gave up teaching and retired.
She attended to the workshops of Murside Icmeli, Hayati Misman (engraving, printing), Hamiye Colakoglu (ceramic). She set up the Ceramic Workshop at the 100.Yil Professional High School and has worked in this workshop for nearly 10 years. The artist who works with rich colours, reflects abstract compositions, figurative subjects on her canvas with a mistic and fantastic expression. She has got two prizes on painting.
Nazli Er who works with Vural Yurdakul and Haluk Evitan in the Picture and Sculpture Museum, participated a lot of mixed exhibitions with the artists of Studio E. She was sent to Paris in order to open the Mumtaz Bolmen’s Exhibition and for artistic studies by the Ministry of Tourism in 2002.
The artist whose some of works are in the bank and private collections, is currently working and teaching design and painting, in her own studio.
