Call for Art - 6th Annual "SeaScapes" Online Art Competition (Deadline: October 27, 2016)
 

"Open" Art Exhibition Results Posted Online & Ready to View

The gallery conducted the 6th Annual “Open” (No Theme) Online Art Competition. There was no theme for this art competition and the gallery accepted art which was representative or in abstract form for possible inclusion into this art exhibition The submission process and competition for the artists began in August 2016 and concluded on September 26, 2016.

The gallery received 654 entries from 20 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Wales. In addition, the gallery received entries from 40 different states.

Due to the volume of entries the gallery felt that it was necessary to create three (3) media categories, in order to make the judging and the results fair for this competition. The media categories are.... Read More Here

Call for Art - 6th Annual "SeaScapes" Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 6th Annual “SeaScapes” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of October 2016. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s November 2016 online group art exhibition.

The gallery encourages entries from artists (including photography), regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their seascape themed art. The “Seascape” theme will be the artist’s interpretation and depiction of seascape art. Seascape subjects would include scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects for this art competition.

Agustín Jiménez Chacón - Solo Art Series - #13 Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Agustín Jiménez Chacón has been selected as one of the four artists of the gallery’s forth “Solo Art Series” Art Competition. Agustín will now have a month long solo art exhibition and he will be featured on the gallery’s front page, in the Gallery’s YouTube Channel, as well as in the “Solo Art Series” archive.

Agustín Jiménez Chacón lives in the city of Santiago de Cuba, Republic of Cuba. He was born in 1983 in the same city. The sketches that he has provided for the Solo Art Series are his “Characters” series, “Those figures with undefined faces and bodies”.

Agustín will be promoted by the gallery with an extensive public relations campaign, as well through the gallery’s broad social media network. In addition, Agustín will be featured on the gallery’s YouTube channel, with an event catalogue and with an event postcard. The “Solo Art Series” is a series of monthly solo art.... Read More Here

The Gallery's New Featured Artist is Lewis Isaac Testa

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely please to announce that is the gallery’s latest featured artist is Lewis Isaac Testa and he will now have his art featured in the Artist Showcase section of the gallery.

Art is a different thing to different people. It can be beautiful or evoke the senses; it can bring out emotions or relax you. To Lewis it has been a long lasting love affair that has been going on for over 50 years now. It has been the one constant that proved to be more valuable to him than he could have ever imagined, and has in turn changed his life for the better.

At eight he started showing interest in art. However his father stopped that as it was considered fooling around. He needed to be more serious about life.
